Creating workplaces where people feel seen, valued, and supported is more than a philosophy at Staffmark Group. It is the way we operate every day. As our workforce has become more remote and hybrid, we noticed something many companies have felt too. A sense of belonging can easily fade without intentional effort. That is why our Business Resource Groups, or BRGs, have become such an important part of who we are as an organization.

A Veteran’s Mission: Health Focuses and Moving Forward

November is a powerful month. Some may naturally turn their attention to Veterans Day, honoring the commitment and sacrifice of service members. But November is also Men’s Health Awareness Month. As a U.S. Army veteran myself, I believe the two concepts of honoring veterans and shining light on men’s health should be inseparable.

My identity was shaped by my time in the military where the focus was on things like discipline, the mission, and ensuring myself and those around me pushed and made it through whatever was thrown our way. Since transitioning out of uniform, I have learned that one of the most important missions for me now is maintaining my own mental and physical health. One way I do that is by recognizing the impact my service has had on my own life and leveraging that knowledge to create a stronger, healthier future for myself.

World Mental Health Day: Prioritizing Mental Wellness at Work

Every year on October 10th, World Mental Health Day offers an opportunity to raise awareness about mental well-being and advocate for stronger support systems. It is a reminder that mental health is not just a personal issue; it is a workplace issue too.

National Hispanic Heritage Month at Staffmark Group

National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed each year in the United States beginning on September 15, celebrates U.S. Latinos—their culture, history, and contributions. First established by Congress in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week, it was expanded to a month-long celebration in 1988. The observance begins in mid-September to align with the independence days of several Latin American nations: Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica all celebrate on September 15, followed by Mexico on September 16, Chile on September 18, and Belize on September 21.

Juneteenth at Staffmark Group: Honoring Freedom, Uplifting Community

Since its designation as a federal holiday in 2021, Juneteenth has gained more widespread recognition, but for many of us, it has always been sacred. This year, I was proud to celebrate it not just personally, but alongside colleagues across Staffmark Group, through acts of service, joy, and community.

Staffmark Group, part of RGF Staffing and Recruit Group, proudly joined RGF Staffing companies worldwide for the RGF Connect Global Week of Impact—an international initiative dedicated to expanding access to employment for individuals facing barriers. U.S.-based events held during the first week of June reached more than 1,400 individuals, providing essential resources, training, and opportunities for meaningful work.
