Plant Engineer Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing plant engineering experience.
• Capital project management and equipment installation experience.
• Experience commissioning new manufacturing equipment.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of process control systems and manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with engineering design software.
• Ability to collaborate with vendors, contractors, maintenance, and cross-functional teams.

Plant Engineer Job Duties: 

• Lead capital projects from planning through installation and commissioning.
• Partner with maintenance to improve plant efficiency, safety, and product quality.
• Manage multiple engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and corporate engineering on plant projects.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements.
• Help develop training and provide technical guidance to plant personnel.
• Ensure engineering projects comply with safety and quality standards.
