Job Duties

• Lead and support employees within the paint department during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate daily workflow to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.
• Perform and oversee industrial painting, including proper preparation, application, and finishing of products.
• Ensure paint is applied according to company quality standards and specifications.
• Inspect finished products for proper coverage, appearance, and quality.
• Assist with training and coaching employees on painting procedures, equipment, and safety practices.
• Monitor paint supplies and notify management when materials need to be replenished.
• Ensure painting equipment, tools, and work areas are properly maintained and kept clean.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Identify production or quality issues and communicate concerns to management.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment or production issues when necessary.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
• Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Paint Lead.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
