Location: Monroe, LA
Salary: $45,000.00 per year
Monday – Friday

  • 6:15 PM – 2:15 AM
  • 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary gate coordinator, assisting drivers with check-in through the Vector system and resolving technical issues
  • Communicate with internal teams, customers, and drivers to resolve operational issues and ensure timely shipment movement
  • Support transportation operations by coordinating shipments, schedules, and customer requests
  • Assist with customer-specific solutions and non-routine operational requests
  • Participate in the development and delivery of operational and client-specific training materials
  • Act as the primary liaison between general contractors and logistics teams to coordinate project timelines and material deliveries
  • Monitor shipment flow to prevent bottlenecks and site congestion while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Identify operational challenges and support continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation and operational records
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to support daily logistics operations
  • Promote a safe work environment by following company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of transportation or logistics experience required
  • Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Gate Coordinator.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
