Requirements:

• Previous industrial, production, or automotive painting experience required
• Experience using automatic spray systems, electrostatic sprayers, and conventional spray guns
• Ability to mix paints and solvents according to manufacturer specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to wear a respirator and required PPE while working
• Must pass a pulmonary function test and respirator fit test

Job Duties:

• Apply liquid paint, varnishes, and protective coatings to metal parts using automated and manual spray equipment
• Set up, operate, and perform touch-ups in automatic paint booths and spray systems
• Clean and prepare paint booths before color changes using compressed air
• Select and prepare paints and materials according to work orders
• Manually paint hard-to-reach areas prior to automated painting processes
• Mix paints and solvents while operating automated paint mixing equipment
• Move parts through painting, flashing, and drying stages to ensure proper curing
• Inspect finished parts and perform touch-ups or corrections to meet quality standards
• Clean and flush paint delivery systems, maintain paint booth filters, and coordinate equipment maintenance as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while assisting with other paint line operations as required
