Location: York, PA
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour
Schedule: AM Shift

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial, machine, or auto body painting experience required
  • Experience using paint sprayers, mixers, brushes, and other painting equipment
  • Ability to mix paints, primers, and coatings according to specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to troubleshoot painting and finish quality issues
  • Forklift experience preferred for transporting finished parts
  • Ability to work safely with paints, chemicals, and required PPE
  • Strong communication skills and dependable attendance
  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs consistently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to work in enclosed paint booths and perform overhead painting tasks

Job Duties:

  • Prepare, prime, and paint parts and equipment according to company and customer specifications
  • Apply paints and primers while maintaining high-quality finish standards
  • Mix paints and prepare surfaces by sanding, degreasing, and cleaning materials
  • Operate and maintain paint sprayers, mixers, paint booths, and related equipment
  • Monitor paint inventory and request additional supplies as needed
  • Transport finished parts to assembly or stock using a forklift
  • Inspect painted parts to ensure color, finish, and quality requirements are met
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe paint booth and work area
  • Document and track paints, lacquers, thinners, and other coating materials
  • Assist with assembly operations as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE while working with chemicals
  • Support additional production duties as assigned
