Requirements:

  • Extensive maintenance leadership experience in a distribution, warehouse, or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems
  • Experience with high-speed conveyor systems and automated material handling equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets, vendors, contractors, and spare parts inventory
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout, fall protection, and workplace safety programs
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance systems preferred
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills

Job Duties:

  • Lead maintenance operations to ensure safe and efficient operation of distribution center equipment
  • Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve reliability
  • Respond to equipment failures and coordinate repairs to support operational goals
  • Manage maintenance budgets, expenses, inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Oversee contractors, facility projects, inspections, and equipment upgrades
  • Train, mentor, and develop maintenance supervisors and technicians
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment, processes, and facility operations
  • Support succession planning and employee development programs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on maintenance systems, safety compliance, and technical troubleshooting
  • Lead mechanization and automation improvement projects from design through implementation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards
  • Maintain a safe work environment and drive year-over-year improvements in safety performance
