Now Hiring: CNC Machinist
Location: Birmingham, AL
Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour
Night Shift: Monday-Wednesday, 6 PM-6:30 AM & Thursday 6 PM-2:30 AM

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Vocational or Technical Degree in CNC Machining preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience combined with technical training, or 4+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Proven CNC machine setup and operation experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of CNC programming, G-Code, M-Code, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tolerances, and quality control standards.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, or precision machining environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Duties:
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce high-precision medical device components.
- Manufacture parts to exact specifications while maintaining tight tolerances and exceptional quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Utilize G-Code and M-Code knowledge to troubleshoot machining programs and optimize production performance.
- Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Identify and document non-conforming materials or parts and support corrective actions.
- Follow ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing principles, and established safety procedures.
- Ensure inspection and measurement equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Maintain accurate production records, quality documentation, and part traceability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and process optimization.
