Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift

Requirements:

• 1 year of conventional lathe experience. 
• Knowledge and experience in setting up and running conventional lathe machines.
• Knowledge of performing shop mathematics associated with machining.
• Knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and precision instruments (i.e., micrometer, calipers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
• Possesses good organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

Job Duties:

• Performs proper setup and running of the conventional lathe machine, ensuring the use of tooling associated with the machine. 
• Will read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure correct specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Performs turning and threading material.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding facility maintenance.
