Santa Fe Springs, CA
Pay Rate: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
1st Shift

As a Quality Inspector in Santa Fe Springs, you’ll be the one making sure every piece coming off the line meets top standards. Your attention to detail keeps production running smooth and customers coming back.

What Makes You the Right Fit- Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in final or receiving inspection within manufacturing
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
  • Experience using inspection tools such as optical comparators, micrometers, thickness gauges, and profilometers
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards and Six Sigma practices preferred
  • Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Stand for extended periods (approximately 75% of the shift)
  • Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally

Preferred Certifications:

  • Mechanical Inspection certification
  • CMM Inspection certification
  • Hardness and electrical conductivity testing certifications

How You Keep Quality Tight – Job Duties

  • Perform detailed inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished products
  • Verify conformance to customer requirements, blueprints, and specifications
  • Complete inspection documentation and maintain accurate quality records
  • Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI) and other required checks
  • Develop and review inspection plans to support product acceptance
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections
  • Conduct hardness and electrical conductivity testing
  • Maintain parts history files, inspection reports, and drawings
  • Calibrate and document inspection tools and equipment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department
  • Perform advanced inspections such as CMM, pressure testing, or proof testing as needed
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Receiving teams
  • Assist with product identification and other assigned tasks
