Location: Harahan, LA
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Must be able to work weekends as needed)

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts) within the production and warehousing areas of the facility. This role supports raw material supply to production lines, movement of packaging materials, staging of finished goods, and maintenance of material flow within the facility to help ensure uninterrupted production and shipment operations. This position is an outside/inside position. MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR OVERTIME

From Clock-In to Clock-Out:
What You’ll Need To Get Behind The Wheel.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain) with prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
- Minimum 2 years of material-handling or production experience preferred.
- Basic computer and scanner skills; ability to read labels and identify materials.
- Physically able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work outside or inside, loading and unloading trucks.
- Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends when required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks, receive shipments, and stage materials for production and shipping
- Supply production lines with materials and transport finished products to storage or shipping areas
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and material movements
- Follow FIFO procedures and inventory control standards to maintain product accuracy
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and operating procedures
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure efficient material flow
- Assist with palletizing, shrink-wrapping, labeling, and other warehouse support duties as needed
