Now Hiring: Resort Property Maintenance Technician
Location: Panama City Beach, FL
Pay Rate: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Friday through Tuesday
We are hiring a dependable Resort Property Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of a condominium and resort-style property. This hands-on role is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional experienced in general repairs, facilities maintenance, and responsive service work in a residential or hospitality environment.
Resort Property Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in maintenance, facilities repair, or property maintenance (residential or hospitality preferred).
- Strong skills in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform effective repairs independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to respond to on-call emergencies and after-hours maintenance needs.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance standards.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Resort Property Maintenance Technician Job Duties:
- Perform routine inspections of resort and condominium facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Complete general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance troubleshooting.
- Respond promptly to resident and property management maintenance requests.
- Diagnose and repair issues such as leaks, electrical faults, and equipment malfunctions.
- Provide on-call emergency maintenance support for urgent facility issues.
- Address emergencies such as power outages, water leaks, and system failures.
- Perform preventative maintenance to extend the life of building systems and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and completed work orders.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, management, and team members.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and property standards.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-functioning building systems and common areas.
- Deliver high-quality customer service to ensure a positive resident experience.
