Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all activities on the 3rd shift to meet production goals efficiently and safely.
  • Lead and motivate assembly line workers, providing clear direction and support to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly.
  • Manage warehouse operations related to raw materials and finished goods, including forklift operation and inventory control.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce safety policies, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
  • Proven factory experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment with hands-on mechanical skills
  • Strong knowledge of assembly line operations, hand tools, power tools, and warehouse procedures
  • Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely in a manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with using mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot machinery issues quickly
  • Experience working with warehouse management systems or inventory control is a plus
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team during the third shift
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced environment
