Now hiring: Electrical Assembler
Location: Chaska, MN
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday-Friday

Skills That Count (Requirements)

  • Associate’s degree from a technical school or 1–2 years of related electrical assembly experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, safety rules, and technical manuals.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and layout work.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise wiring and assembly instructions.
  • Dependability and ability to work collaboratively in a production environment.
  • Adaptability to changing tasks and production needs.
  • Good communication and listening skills when working with leads and engineers.
  • Safety-conscious mindset with consistent adherence to safety and security procedures.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Vision capabilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Comfortable working in a moderate-noise warehouse environment with exposure to strong chemical odors (acclimation expected; protective equipment available).

On the Floor (Job Duties)

  • Lay out electrical installation diagrams according to wiring specifications and blueprints.
  • Install and wire devices such as switches, meters, analyzers, transmitters, and related components.
  • Cut, bend, strip, and form wire cable to connect circuits and subassemblies.
  • Connect color-coded wires, including working in compact or confined areas, using mirrors as needed.
  • Solder connections and crimp wire terminals and connectors.
  • Assemble, adjust, and modify electrical components as required during production.
  • Identify, discuss, and resolve diagram or build discrepancies with the Electrical Lead or Engineer.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
