CNC Machinist Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; machining coursework preferred.
• 2+ years of experience setting up and running CNC machinery—Haas or Mazak experience a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading and math skills for precision work.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety.
• Must be able to lift (up to) 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

How You’ll Spend Your Day
You’ll kick off the shift by setting up your CNC machine, double-checking your tools, and reviewing the job specs. From there, it’s about precision — running programs, inspecting parts, and making quick adjustments when something’s off. You’ll keep your space clean, safe, and production-ready.
