Job Description:


Now Hiring Converting Machine Operator
Location: Crystal Lake, IL
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: 

  • B Shift:             6:00 am to 6:30 pm, Week 1: Sun/W/Th;  Week 2:  M/T/F/Sat ($17.00)
  • C Shift:             6:00 pm to 6:30 am, Sun/M/T and every other Wednesday ($17.50)
  • D Shift:             6:00 pm to 6:30 am; W/Th/F and every other Tuesday ($17.50)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements to 1/16 of an inch using a standard ruler
  • Ability to multitask while operating equipment, inspecting products, and completing paperwork
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently and up to 65 lbs with assistance
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality standards

Job Duties:

  • Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently
  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Measure materials and finished products accurately
  • Package and prepare products for shipment or further processing
  • Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately
  • Keep machines running efficiently while monitoring product quality
  • Remove scrap materials and maintain a clean work area
  • Follow all safety procedures, production requirements, and work instructions
  • Assist with material handling and production support activities as needed
