Looking for Mold Maintenance Technician jobs in Putnam where your technical skills keep equipment operating at its best? This opportunity allows you to troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, and help maintain the systems that keep production moving safely and efficiently.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical education or apprenticeship training in a skilled trade preferred
• Equivalent to a completed accredited apprenticeship or one year of technical college education

• Prior experience assembling injection molding molds in a Tool Room environment required
• Previous stand-up forklift experience required
• Experience working with precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications, charts, and technical documents
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and mold maintenance practices preferred

• Assemble molds in the Tool Room for injection molding operations
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on molds, fixtures, and tooling
• Operate surface grinders, stand-up forklifts, crane hoists, and related equipment
• Support engineers in diagnosing and resolving complex mold-related issues
• Maintain quality molds and fixtures used in the production of high-performance plastic products
• Prepare and manage mold maintenance schedules based on production and engineering requirements
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Organize and maintain Tool Room equipment and maintenance plans
• Identify mold issues during inspections and work with Mold Makers to implement repairs
• Assist in resolving chronic process and quality concerns affecting production

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
• Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Mold Maintenance Technician.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
