Location: Geneva, IL
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Night Shift: 10 PM – 6:30 AM | Training for the first 30 days on Day Shift

What You Need

  • At least 6 months of experience in sanitation, or as a custodian or a janitor
  • Able to lift 40–50 lbs.
  • Comfortable walking and standing most of the shift
  • Know basic cleaning supplies and follow safety practices
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-focused

What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Clean in-process tanks, totes, pots, sifters, small parts, and filling equipment. Operate the Clean Out of Place (COP) tank
  • Understand and follow all sanitation guidelines and procedures as outlined in the training documentation
  • Keep accurate production records, report information daily, and ensure accurate reporting
  • Perform sanitation duties, perform proper housekeeping, and adhere to safety and GMP procedures, including chemical handling and food product handling
  • Help maintain equipment, report all machinery breakdowns or problems, and resolve basic mechanical issues noticed in the sanitation process
  • Complete the weekly master sanitation tasks of the production facility
  • Assist other technicians in making basic, small blends and emulsions. Assist other technicians with basic packaging of liquids and spray dryers
  • Perform changeovers and wash downs (including chemical, allergen, and kosher) of equipment
  • Participate in team/department meetings, offering suggestions where warranted
  • Responsible for the disposal of trash and operating the compactor. Responsible for the recycling of cardboard and paper bags using the baler
  • Must have previous manufacturing experience in a sanitation role
  • Able to remain active and lift 50 pounds
