Now Hiring Quality Inspector
Location: Ewing, NJ
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Thursday – Monday | Night Shift: 11:30 PM – 8 AM

Quality Inspector Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
  • Experience using Vernier calipers and other precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to perform visual inspections and identify product defects with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Gmail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and recognize when issues should be escalated
  • Excellent organizational skills with accurate documentation and recordkeeping abilities
  • Knowledge of quality control processes, inspection procedures, and manufacturing best practices is preferred.

Quality Inspector Job Duties: 

  • Perform quality inspections on raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using measuring tools such as Vernier calipers, weighing scales, and other precision equipment.
  • Perform visual inspections to identify product defects and report quality issues promptly.
  • Complete leak testing, challenge testing, and other quality control tests during production and batch changeovers.
  • Conduct line clearance and pre-dispatch inspections to verify product quality before shipment.
  • Collect, label, and maintain quality control and retained samples.
  • Review quality records, inspection documentation, SOPs, Certificates of Conformance (COC), and Certificates of Analysis (COA)
  • Accurately document inspection results and communicate quality concerns to the Quality Assurance team
  • Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and perform additional quality assurance duties as assigned.
