Now Hiring Maintenance Technician
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay Rate: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour
Day Shift: 8 AM-4:30 PM | Monday – Friday

Maintenance Technician – Building Maintenance & Repair Specialist Keep commercial properties running safely, efficiently, and reliably. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair work, and multi-trade facility support across multiple customer sites. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician skilled in plumbing, electrical, HVAC support, carpentry, and general facility maintenance services.

Maintenance Technician Job Duties:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial building systems and equipment.
  • Complete assigned maintenance work orders in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform plumbing repairs, including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements.
  • Complete electrical maintenance, including switches, outlets, lighting, ballasts, and minor repairs.
  • Perform carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general building maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and basic mechanical system repairs.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections and asset checks for operational readiness.
  • Travel between customer sites using a company-provided vehicle and maintenance tools.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service updates and completed repairs.
  • Document service work, inspections, and maintenance activity using handheld devices and maintenance software.
  • Order materials and supplies needed to complete assigned work.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
  • Provide estimates for larger repair and maintenance projects as needed.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional commercial work environments.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or commercial property maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general building repair.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
  • HVAC experience or exposure to commercial mechanical systems is strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between customer locations daily.
  • Experience using handheld devices, maintenance software, and digital work order systems.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read work orders, technical instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding maintenance work.
