Now hiring: Material Handler
Location: Kent, WA
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Day Shift: Start Time between 5 AM and 7 AM

No Clock-watchers. Just Movers, Stackers, and Go-Getters.

What You Need to Succeed as a Material Handler (Qualifications & Requirements):

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Forklift or warehouse certs a plus.
  • Steel or Composite toe boots required.
  • Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping, receiving, or order picking experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working extended hours and overtime during peak seasons.
  • Basic computer and RF scanner experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do as a Material Handler (Responsibilities & Job Duties):

  • Pick, pack, stage, and prepare furniture orders for shipment and delivery.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Package, kit, and assemble products as needed.
  • Use RF scanners to track inventory.
  • Move materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Work collaboratively to meet daily productivity and customer delivery goals.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company standards.
