Now hiring Warehouse Material Handler
Location: Clayton, IN
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $20.75 per hour
Schedule: 

  • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM

If you’re the kind of person who counts reps by crates lifted and feels weird not sweating by noon, this Warehouse Material Handler gig is calling your name. Hard work? Yep. Good people? Yep. And forklifts that purr like kittens? Well, not exactly, but they run solid.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 months of warehouse, material handling, or related experience preferred
  • Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to perform basic math using weights, measurements, and currency
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions

Job Duties:

  • Load and unload materials, products, and supplies from delivery vehicles
  • Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas
  • Pick, pull, and distribute materials based on work orders and customer requests
  • Sort and store materials on racks, shelves, or designated storage locations
  • Assemble customer orders and prepare products for shipment
  • Mark, label, and identify materials accurately
  • Open and process incoming shipments and containers
  • Record inventory transactions and maintain inventory records in computer systems
  • Weigh and count materials to verify accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Prepare parcels for mailing and support shipping operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
