Location: Plano, TX
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
Day Shift: 7:45 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday

Step into an SMT QC Inspector role in Plano, where precision matters and pride runs deep. You’ll spot the flaws, fix the flow, and make sure every product leaves the line ready to roll.
The Skills You Need:
- Experience in inspecting SMT assemblies and printed circuit boards in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Ability to perform solder repair and touch-up work under a microscope
- Ability to pass QC inspection and soldering skill assessments
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation, drawings, and inspection procedures
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs., as needed
What Gives You an Edge:
- IPC or solder certification
- Experience with SMT and through-hole inspection processes
- Familiarity with microscopes, soldering tools, and electronic components
- Experience in regulated or high-quality manufacturing environments

A Day Keeping Quality Tight:
- Inspect printed circuit boards (PCBs) with SMT components for defects, solder quality, and assembly accuracy
- Perform solder touch-up, rework, and repair under a microscope using approved soldering techniques
- Identify and document defects such as insufficient solder, bridging, missing components, polarity issues, and placement errors
- Verify all workmanship meets company and customer quality standards
- Read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, travelers, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Use microscopes, inspection tools, and soldering equipment during quality control processes
- Accurately complete inspection reports and production documentation
- Communicate quality issues, production concerns, or equipment malfunctions to leads or supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation
- Support production and quality teams to meet daily output and quality goals
- Participate in training and cross-training as needed
